Acer Predator Helios 300: Price, Specifications and Availability

Acer Predator is one of the most used names when it comes to PC gaming. The predator laptops have always been the best when it comes to delivering performance to the gamers. Acer on Thursday, August 17 launched its new Predator Helios 300 in India. The new Helios 300 is not only about the performance, but Acer also took care of the style with the new matte black chassis, red accents and aggressive air vents. The laptop comes with a proprietary PredatorSense software to control and customize a host of features all at a tantalizing point.

The Predator Helios 300 is powered by a 7th Gen Intel Core i7 (7700HQ) or i5 processor (7300HQ) coupled with an overclockable NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or 1050Ti GPU. The powerful gaming laptop comes with a 16GB of DDR4 RAM (upgradable up to 32GB), a 256GB of SSD and 1TB HDD. All of this processing power is supported with up to 16GB of DDR4 memory (Upgradable to 32GB), a speedy 256GB SATA SSD and a 1TB HDD. Helios 300 features a 15.6-inch FHD IPS display and the audio here is delivered by Dolby Audio Premium and Acer TrueHarmony.

As the Predator Helios 300 is a powerful laptop, it does need some serious cooling which is provided by the AeroBlade 3D Fan, which makes sure of providing a smooth gaming experience.The AeroBlade is the world’s thinnest metal fan blade at only 0.1 mm. The preloaded PredatorSense software provides real time system information and overclocking, so gamers can monitor and control the system’s vitals from one central interface.

As far as the connectivity options are concerned, the Helios 300 includes a USB 3.1 Type-C port, a USB 3.0 port (featuring power-off USB charging), two USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet port and an HDMI 2.0 connection.
