Amazon is now letting consumers create custom questions and responses for Alexa

Alexa Blueprints might be the best update to Alexa Ever.

Alexa is one of the best smart assistants in the market right now. Developed by Amazon, Alexa is growing and becoming better every day. Also, it comes in smart speakers to accessorise your home. Recently, Amazon just launched a new service for Alexa. The new service is known as Alexa Blueprints. This new service enables users to cook up personalised responses. Users then can use personalized questions to get personalized responses. This makes specific commands you want in Alexa accessible to you.

There are a variety of blueprints available on the Amazon website. However, users are restricted to them. The blueprints include a collection of babysitters, family jokes, a collection of your favourite inspirational quotes, etc. Users can modify these blueprints to create custom responses.

Alexa Blueprints are only available in the US as of now.

In one example for the Houseguest skill, you could say "Alexa, open My Houseguest Guide" to then hear an intro from Alexa introducing some of the custom questions your guests can ask, such as "How do I turn on the TV?" or "Where's the toilet paper?".

How to use this feature?

Users can select the pre-built blueprint and then carry on to modify it according to their will. However, this is only available in the US as of now. Also, these custom questions are linked to your Amazon account, so it won't work if you try the same question on a different speaker connected to the different account.  Once, you modified the questions according to you will, you can save them with a name. Once, that is done, it will sync to your speaker and that's it.

This will allow users to use Alexa for questions that never would be added to the Alexa database. Like where is the bathroom in this house?
