Apple iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will not get the upcoming iOS 13 update. Here's why
Apple's iOS has always had an advantage over Google's Android, which is updated. The company provides updates to even a 5-year-old smartphone. However, with the recent reports, it seems like that it is going to stop. Apple will not roll out the iOS 13 updates for iPhone 6s and earlier models.
Apple iPhone 5s users were actually the lucky ones as the phone came with iOS 7 and it is currently running on iOS 12, which means the 5s got around 5 major updates during the cycle. On the other hand, iPhone 6S, which came out in 2015 with iOS 9 will not even get its fourth major update.
According to an Israeli website The Verifier, Apple will not roll out the update for iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone SE. It also quite understood that the Apple iPhone 5S will also not get the update as iOS 12 was said to be its last update at the time of its rollout.

The report further suggests that even the old iPads including iPad Mini 2, iPad Mini 3, iPad Mini 4, iPad Air and iPad Air 2 will also have to settle for the iOS 12. As for the iPods, the iPod 6th generation is the only iPod running on the latest version of iOS, which is soon going to change as it will also not receive the upcoming update.
Apple has recently seen a decline in sales majorly due to the older iPhones getting faster over the updates. Stopping the update for older iPhones might help the company in boosting up the sales by a little bit.
