Asus ROG Phone 5s, ROG Phone 5s Pro with up to 18GB RAM launched in India: Price, specifications

Asus ROG Phone 5s, ROG Phone 5s Pro starting at Rs 49,999, launched in India. The devices come with up to 18GB RAM, 144Hz refresh rate and more.

Asus just launched its ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro in India. Both the gaming smartphones were unveiled globally back in August last year. Key features include a Snapdragon 888+ SoC, 6.78-inch full HD+ Samsung AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate, 6,000mAh battery and more.

Asus ROG Phone 5s, ROG Phone 5s Pro: Price in India

Asus ROG Phone 5s is priced at Rs 49,999 for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant, at Rs 57,999 for the 12GB RAM/256GB storage variant. The device will  be made available in Phantom Black and Storm White colour options

Asus ROG Phone 5s Pro is priced at Rs 79,999 for the sole 18GB RAM/512GB storage variant. It will be made available only in the Phantom Black colour option.

Both the gaming smartphones will go on sale starting February 18 exclusively via Flipkart.

Both the ROG Phone 5s and the ROG Phone 5s Pro sport a 6.78-inch full HD+ AMOLED display from Samsung. The display comes with a resolution of 2,448x1080 pixels and features a 144Hz refresh rate along with a 360Hz touch sampling rate, 1ms response time, 24ms touch latency, HDR10+ support, and up to 1200 nits peak brightness. The display features 2.5D curved glass with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection on top. The display is handled by a Pixelworks i6 processor. ROG Phone 5s Pro also sports a small PMOLED display on the back panel with ROG Vision.

They are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC paired with an Adreno 660 GPU. The vanilla variant comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Pro variant comes with up to 18GB of LPDDR5 RAM along with 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Both the devices run Google's Android 11 operating system with the company's own ROG UI skin on top. All of this is backed by a dual-cell 6,000mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging.

The devices also feature ultrasonic sensors for AirTrigger 5 and grip press. They also come with dual front stereo speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Both the phones come with a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, paired with a 13-megapixel ultra wide angle sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. At the front, it sports a 24-megapixel sensor for taking selfies.
