Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro launched in India: Price and Specifications

Asus, on Thursday, launched the Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie series in India. The company managed to launch three new smartphones today focusing on the selfie trend which has also become the most important aspect nowadays in the smartphone industry. The Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro is the high-end smartphone in the ZenFone 4 Selfie series.

Specifications

The Asus ZenFone Selfie Pro features a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and a pixel density of 401ppi. The display has a colour gamut that is wider than 100% NTSC which makes photos, videos, and other content look as vibrant as in real life. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC which is an octa-core chipset clocked at 2.0GHz coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. The Selfie Pro comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage which is further expandable via a microSD card. All of this is backed by a 3,000mAh battery which also supports fast charging. The device runs on Android Nougat with ZenUI 4.0 layered on top of it out of the box.

In the audio segment, the ZenFone Selfie Pro comes with Hi-Res Audio 192kHz/24-bit standard and a 5-magnet speaker with NXP Smart Amp. It also includes DTS for headphone support and dual internal microphone with ASUS Noise Reduction Technology.

On the optics front, the Asus ZenFone Selfie Pro sports a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera with dual-tone LED flash. The rear camera comes with a new feature called ASUS SuperPixel Engine which is an exclusive image processor for delivering better quality photographs.

Up front, the smartphone features a dual-camera setup consisting of a 24-megapixel DuoPixel technology camera sensor coupled with a 5-megapixel super wide angle camera sensor. The front-facing 24MP camera has an aperture of f/1.8 and is capable of recording 4K videos. Asus claims that the Selfie Pro's secondary front camera has 200%-wider field of view for more friends and scenery in the frame. The Seflie Pro also comes with ASUS SelfieMaster technology for smart beautification in selfies, videos and live-streams. There is also a front-facing LED flash for better low light selfies.

Price and Availability

The Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro is priced at Rs. 23,999 and will be exclusively available via Flipkart.  The smartphone is available in Rouge Red, Sunlight Gold and Deepsea Black colour variants. The sales will be starting from September, 21.
