Asus, the Taiwanese tech giant is gearing up to launch the much awaited Asus ZenFone 5Z in India today. The smartphone is the latest flagship from the company and will compete directly against the likes of OnePlus 6 and Honor 10. The ZenFone 5Z will be exclusively available via the e-commerce website Flipkart.
Asus is launching the ZenFone 5Z in collaboration with Flipkart today, June 26 at 8:45 PM. The e-commerce website has already generated a dedicated page for the upcoming smartphone where they will also live stream the launch. The smartphone was announced back in February this year, so we already know how the device looks and what it carries inside. Today's launch will give us the price and availability details.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the Asus ZenFone 5Z features a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080x2246 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with the Adreno 630 GPU. The is available in three variants, however, as of now, we don't know which one of them will make it to India. The dual-SIM handset runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. Under the hood, there is a 3,300mAh battery powering up the internals.

In terms of cameras, the Asus ZenFone 5Z sports a dual-camera setup at the back consisting of a 12-megapixel and an 8-megapixel sensor. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.
