Asus has released a new over the air (OTA) update for its ZenfoneMax Pro M1. The update adds Android's January 2019 security update and some stability fixes. The company has announced that they will be rolling out the update gradually to all users over the next few weeks.

The new OTA update comes with a version number OPM1.WW_Phone-15.2016.1811.338-20181206, which is built upon Google's Android 8.1 Oreo. The company is expected to release the Android 9.0 Pie update for the device next month.
