Krafton Inc has started rolling out Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) 1.8.0 update. The update brings the earlier teased Spider-Man: No Way Home theme, UI improvements, allowing players to pick a desired match quickly, and more.

Other features include the new Livik: Aftermath theme, which is available until February 14. The new UI update also shows installed, ranked and normal matching separately. It also brings automatic marking as well.

Apart from the new features, we get to see a number of improvements to the existing elements of the game.

With the new update, the season tier points will only be reflected in ranked matchmaking. However, season tier points will not affect normal matchmaking. Krafton has also made changes in the UI to help its users to pick a desired match easily.

The new Livik: Aftermath mode can only be played with normal matching, which will not hurt the players' season tier points. In the mode, players can knock enemies with automatic fire in the Firearm and Scope mode. New supply stores have also been added to the map in classic mode, where players can exchange looted coins with supply items. Also with the update, the map will feature an indicator to show an upcoming supply crate location. Revive objects will also display across the map.

Bug fixes include a fix for firing direction and aim varied by display resolution, and a fix for bullet spread issues. It also brings in a feature to allow knocked out players to swim in the water.

The in-map place names will now be displayed in 3D. Some other new features include automatic marking to find enemies and auto-jump with ping. Krafton has also improved its cheater reporting system including the receipt and result of reporting cheaters. The company will also be providing rewards for players with high merit levels.
