BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9983 Brought to India

BlackBerry has just introduced one of it's luxury smartphone in India The 'Blackberry Porsche Design P’9983 Graphite' which is being priced at Rs. 99,990 for the Average Consumer Market of the Phone. BlackBerry is banking on it's strongest suit which is productivity and effective collaboration, this is a BlackBerry Device that has been crafted with the engineers from Porsche the luxury car manufacturer. and the has been made with really high quality materials and is available in 2 variants that is: Black special glass weave and Grey hand-wrapped leather. The Phone itself looks great and luxurious but lets dive into the spec sheet a bit. BlackBerry Porsche Design features a 3.1" touch display with a resolution of 720 X 720, it runs the BlackBerry OS 10 Operating System and features internal memory of 64GB that can be expanded with the help of a MicroSD Card up to 128GB. The Phone is Powered by a 1.5GHz Dual Core Qualcomm MSM8960 processor and sports 2GB of RAM, the Blackberry Porsche P’9983 sports a 8 MP rear camera that supports Video Recording in 1080p HD Video.

One of the USP's of the BlackBerry Porsche Design is it's high-gloss QWERTY keyboard designed with glass-like keys made out of a rigid synthetic material that give it is special 3D effect. The phone comes with auto-correction and next word suggestion features which actually work, as BlackBerry has got the keyboard right with years of practice.

The Porsche Design P’9983 also gets an exclusive Porsche Design PIN ID group which is - 2AAXXXXX, which makes the device easily recognizable among any other Porsche Design Mobile users that you may find. The phone also features a custom home screen only available for the BlackBerry Porsche Design phones, clock, ringtone and auto signature, which is basic.

The phone features a 2100 mAh removable battery that offers a talk time of 14 hours on 3G and upto 12 days of Standby. The phone also comes with a front camera of 2MP with fixed focus and a 3X digital zoom and which also can record 720P HD Video. The phone offers 4G Support and comes with 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, it also offers 4G Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC and FM Radio among other network & connectivity options.

BlackBerry Porsche Edition is only one of the many luxury phones that have started selling in India and have made a specific crowd for themselves. Earlier this year Blackberry had launched the Limited Edition Blackberry Passport Gold & Black in India. There are also Vertu Ti and Tonino Lamborghini 88 Tauri that have made a name in the Indian market.
