BSNL now offers 10GB 4G data daily for up to 84 days starting at just Rs. 96. Here's everything you need to know.
BSNL has just launched two new prepaid plans that offer 10GB 4G data every day. The new STV 96 and STV 236 plans are currently available only in the regions where the telecom operator has its 4G services enabled. While these plans bring an interesting proposition to the table, they lack the most essential part of a plan, which is calling.
Both STV 96 and STV 236 offer 10GB 4G data per day but they both have different validity periods. While the STV 96 plan will be valid for 28 days, the STV 236 plan brings a validity period of 84 days. Considering they both bring 10GB data per day, the STV 96 and STV 236 plans offer a total of 280GB and 840GB 4G data respectively.
BSNL is currently offering these plans only where BSNL’s 4G service is active, which includes multiple regions in Maharashtra like Akola, Bhandara, Beed, Jalna, Osmanabad and more. Even though the new plans do not offer calling benefits, if the plan gets introduced to more regions, it can give a tough competition to the likes of Jio, Airtel and Vodafone.

Apart from that, the company has also revised its Rs. 1,098 pre-paid plan. The plan offered truly unlimited data along with unlimited calls and SMS benefits for a validity period of 84 days. With the revision made, the plan now has reduced validity and has received a data limit. It now offers a validity of 75 days and brings in data limit of 375GB for the entire validity period. However, unlimited calls and SMS messages remain constant.
