Comio India has launched a new budget-oriented smartphone in the country. The Comio X1 comes in at Rs. 7,499 and it compares directly against smartphones like the Xiaomi Redmi 5. The key highlights of the Comio X1 include dual 4G VoLTE/ViLTE and facial recognition. The smartphone will be available via both major online and offline channels.

Specifications

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Comio X1 features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720x1440 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek MT6739 processor. The dual-SIM handset packs in 2GB of RAM coupled with 16GB of onboard storage which is further expandable using a microSD card. On the optics front, the Comio X1 features a 13-megapixel camera at the back with f/2.0 aperture and a LED flash. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.

Alternatives

Here are some alternatives to the recently launched Comio X1:

Xiaomi Redmi 5

Xiaomi Redmi 5 sports an 18:9 display

Xiaomi Redmi 5 is one of the most popular options when it comes to a budget smartphone. It sports a 5.7-inch HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC coupled with 2GB, 3GB or 4GB of RAM. For storage, the dual-SIM handset is available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage options. The Redmi 5 is available at a starting price of Rs. 7,999.

10.or G

10.or G comes with a dual-camera setup at the back

The 10.or G offers a stock Android experience with much better specifications at a similar price tag. However, what you lose here is the 18:9 panel as the 10.or G comes with a traditional 16:9 panel. The latter phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC coupled with 3GB or 4GB of RAM. The smartphone is available at a starting price of Rs. 7,699.
