Coolpad has announced a new budget smartphone with a waterdrop notch and a dual rear camera sensor dubbed Coolpad Cool 3 in India. It is priced at Rs. 5,999 and will be made available in the country via both online and offline retail channels.
There is no set date on the launch of the device, however, when it goes on sale, it will be made available in Midnight Blue, Ruby Black, Ocean Indigo and Teal Green colour options.
To recall, the company recently re-entered the Indian smartphone market with the launch of its three Mega series smartphones back in December. These included the Coolpad Mega 5, Mega 5M and Mega 5C smartphones.

Coolpad Cool 3 will sport a 5.71-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1500x720 pixels. It is powered by a Unosoc processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The device comes with 2GB of RAM paired with 16GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.
It runs Google's Android 9.0 operating system and is backed by a 3,000mAh battery. In terms of security options, it sports a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and also supports Face recognition to unlock.

Coolpad Cool 3 sports a dual camera setup on the back consisting of an 8-megapixel primary sensor paired with a 0.3-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front, it features a 5-megapixel sensor for taking selfies.
