Detel launches the 'World's Most Economical Smart LED TV': Price, Features and more

Detel Mobiles has entered the televisions market in India and has announced the launch of ‘India ka TV’-the world’s most economical Smart LED TV. The new 32-inch smart TV launched by Detel is powered by Google's Android operating system. The Android operating system helps in offering a wide range of features on the TV. Alongside the smart TV, the company has also announced two other LED televisions with 24-inch and 32-inch screen sizes.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Yogesh Bhatia, Managing Director, S.G. Corporate Mobility says, “With the launch of the world’s most economical feature-phone, we had broken a barrier of access to communication for people at the bottom of the pyramid. Now with a strong vision of ‘Banega India Smart’ we are set to embark on a new journey with the launch of ‘India ka TV’. We want those digitally connected people to experience a new way of watching television and access internet on their TVs. We hope to reach to the remotest parts of the country with our affordable models and make difference to the lives of millions.”

Detel Smart TV specifications

The Detel 32-inch Smart LED TV, as the name suggests, has a 32-inch screen size. The display on the television sports a resolution of 1366x768 pixels. The TV uses the Samsung's A* Grade Panel and is also HD Ready. As the TV is powered by Android, it packs in 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage. Some of the other features found on the Detel Smart TV include High Definition Multimedia Interface and support to Miracast. Interestingly, the device also supports DOLBY Digital.

As far as the connectivity is concerned, the television comes with Wi-Fi for easy access to the internet. The Detel Smart TV also supports PC Connectivity and has USB Multimedia Support.

Price and Availability

Detel has launched the 32-inch Smart LED TV with a price tag of Rs. 17,999. The company also offers LED TV's of 24-inch and 32-inch at Rs. 9,999 and Rs 13,999 respectively. All these televisions are available via the e-commerce website, B2BAdda.com.
