Fortune ranks Asus one of the world's most admired companies

Asus is one of the biggest technology companies in the market right now. Although, the company has been honored by Fortune as Worlds most Admired Company two times in the past. Today the company announced that they are once again recognized as one of Fortune’s World’s Most Admired Companies.This makes Asus to be recognized with honors from the Fortune’s World’s Most Admired Companies survey third time now.

The worldwide survey of 1500 candidates was conducted by Fortune. As the results came out, Fortune selected ASUS as one of the leading companies in the computers segment. The company's ranking has been conducted in leading enterprise in the Computers category. Reaffirming its leading position once again in the industry, Asus continues to be a strong brand. It also has been recognized for delivering excellent products and services.

Survey Methodology

Fortune in a collaboration with Korn Ferry, also its partner helo the survey. This survey was for corporate reputation. Beginning with about 1500 candidates in line to win the award, Fortune narrowed it down. The top 1000 largest US companies were ranked by revenue. They were accompanied by non-US companies in Fortune's Global 500 database. All of these companies have revenues of $10 billion or more. Then the next step was to select the highest-revenue companies in each industry. This totaled to 680 in 29 countries. The top-rated companies then were picked from that pool of 680.

In order to determine the best-regarded companies in 52 industries, Korn Ferry asked executives, directors, and analysts to rate enterprises. This rating was done in their own industry on nine criteria. These criteria ranged from investment value and quality of management and products to social responsibility and ability to attract talent. If the company's score is not in the top half of its industry survey to be listed, they are disqualified. The full ASUS ranking can be viewed at here.
