Gionee, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has expanded its smartphone portfolio by launching the Gionee M7 Power. The smartphone flaunts a 6-inch display with 18:9 ratio making it nearly bezel-less. In the design segment, the smartphone boasts a high-grade 6-series aluminium back shell. One of the major highlights of the smartphone is the massive battery packed under the hood. The M7 Power has currently been launched in Thailand at the Thailand Mobile Expo 2017.
The Gionee M7 Power is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC which is an octa-core chipset clocked at 1.4GHz and coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. The smartphone features a 6-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1440x720 pixels. The phone packs in a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage which is further expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. The M7 Power runs on Google's Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system with Gionee's Amigo OS 5.0 skin layered on top of it. Under the hood, there is a massive 5,000mAh battery powering up the device which also supports fast charging.

On the optics front, the M7 Power features a 13-megapixel camera at the back with an aperture of f/2.0 and a LED flash. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.
The Gionee M7 Power is priced at THB 9,990 which roughly converts to Rs. 19,600. The smartphone is available in Gold colour with a laser-engraved finish, Black and Dark Blue colours in the laser-drilled finish.
