Google recently took the wraps off the much anticipated Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. The smartphones are hitting the shelves of various markets. As the Google Pixel has a successor now, its price has been dropped to make room for the new Pixel 2 devices in that price range. The Google Pixel 32GB now starts at Rs. 34,999 on all the major e-commerce websites including Amazon and Flipkart. The Pixel XL 32GB now retails for Rs. 39,999 while the 128GB variant of the Pixel XL goes for as low as Rs. 49,249. The 128GB variant of the Pixel is currently priced at Rs. 42,299 on Amazon India.
As the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are now launched, the last year's Pixel devices perform really well even today. The original Pixel devices once had one of the best smartphone cameras. Also at the new price, the Pixel will now directly compete against the OnePlus 5.
Google Pixel and the Pixel XL are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC coupled with Adreno 530 GPU. The Pixel features a 5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels, whereas, the Pixel XL sports a larger 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440x2560 pixels. The smartphones come with 4GB of RAM and two storage options, 32GB and 128GB.The Pixel is backed by a 2,770mAh battery while the Pixel XL comes with a 3,450mAh battery under the hood. Both the smartphones currently run on Android 8.0 Oreo.

As for the optics, both the smartphones feature a 12-megapixel camera at the back with an aperture of f/2.0, phase detection autofocus, laser autofocus and a dual-tone LED flash. Up front, the smartphones come with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture.
