Google has introduced it’s new Gmail inbox which has customizable tabs just like any web browser that helps the user get a quick overview and lets the user decide which mail does he want to read and when.
In the new Gmail inbox, which is very simple to customize one can choose from 5 pre-opened tabs which are –
The user can choose to use categories as inbox tabs. These categories make it easy to focus on the messages that are important and all that are of the same kind.
The new inbox is also available in Gmail’s official mobile apps on Android 4.0 + devices, the messages are automatically categorized into the following tabs –
Messages from friends, family, and any other messages that do not appear anywhere else.
Deals, Offers, and any other promotional emails.
Messages from social networks. Like – Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Linked in, etc.
Notifications such as confirmations, receipts, bills and statements.
Messages from online groups, discussion boards, and mailing lists.
