OnePlus is expected to soon launch its next smartphone, the OnePlus 7. Here's everything you need to know about the device
OnePlus is now gearing up to launch their next flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 7. As the launch is coming closer, we are witnessing more leaks and rumours about the device. Recently, a Chinese retailer listed the smartphone online giving us hints on the specifications and the price. Here's everything we know about the upcoming smartphone so far.
According to a recent report, the OnePlus 7 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. It will feature a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2316x1080 pixels. The dual-SIM handset will pack in up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. It will run on OxygenOS 9 based on Google's Android 9.0 Pie operating system. All of this will be backed by a 4,000mAh battery, which will support the company's latest Warp Charge technology.
On the optics front, the OnePlus 7 will come with a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 20-megapixel sensor and a 5-megapixel sensor. Up front, there will be a 16-megapixel pop-up camera just like we saw on the recently launched Oppo F11 Pro.
OnePlus 7 will feature a glass sandwich design and a vertical camera set up at the back. However, the glass back does not mean that the phone will get wireless charging. Just like the OnePlus 6T, the new smartphone will also lack a headphone jack.
As far as the pricing is concerned, the OnePlus 7 is expected to be launched at a starting price of USD 569, which roughly converts to Rs. 40,000.
