WhatsApp now allows users to mark messages as read from the notification bar itself. Here's how you can do it
WhatsApp is one of the most popular cross-platform messaging application. The Facebook-owned company constantly keeps updating the application in order to bring new features as well as fix any bugs. The company also has a beta version of the app available for Android on the Google Play Store. In the recent Beta update, the app has allowed users to "Mark as Read" any message from the notification panel itself.
One of the best features of WhatsApp is its ability to send read receipts to the senders. These read receipts are usually sent once the app is opened and the message is read. However, there are people who usually read messages from the notifications panel itself. Some people hesitate to open the app as it would update their Last Seen status. So, WhatsApp has now introduced the feature on the latest beta version 2.18.232.
