Hike Messenger today launched personalised stickers for 500 colleges in India. Moreover, they announced that they will be increasing this number to 1,000 by the end of this year. The company will make these stickers available in their app from September 12.

The company during this year had done a social survey of 18 colleges spanning over Delhi, Bangalore, Pune and Ahmedabad where they got to know how to make this sticker pack extremely relatable to the students in India. After the study, the sticker packs were made which the company claims to have had an engagement growth rate of 40 percent.

College life is a very special and memorable time for the youth. They make multiple friends across many groups. I am really excited about our hyper local strategy with colleges. Stickers are a hugely popular means of expression by the youth. And these special stickers will make the experience so much more personal for our Hikers. We plan to introduce sticker packs for several thousand colleges across India before the end of the year and our teams are working round the clock to make this happen,

Recently Hike Messenger launched its new 5.0 version of their app in which they introduced App Themes, Night Mode, Magic Selfie, Hike Wallet, and Blue Packets to send money to friends or family. Hike says that these new stickers will help the youth connect at a much more personal level with their college peers. To use these stickers all that is needed to be done is that the college student will have to search his college's name in the app, then all the stickers made for his/her college will appear.
