HMD Global is now all set to launch the flagship Nokia 8 in India on 26, September 2017. The smartphone was launched on August 16 in the United Kingdom. The flagship smartphone has finally made its way to India. The company has sent out media invites for an event they are holding in New Delhi. The invite states “There are two sides to every story. Don’t miss out on yours. Join us for unveiling the next milestone of Nokia Phones”. However, there is no clear word regarding the Nokia 8, but speculations do point towards the Nokia 8 launch.
Nokia 8 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with Adreno 540 GPU. The smartphone features a 5.3-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1440x2560 pixels and a pixel density of 554ppi. The flagship devices ships with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage which is further expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. The Nokia 8 is backed by a 3,090mAh battery which charges faster with the help of Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support. The device runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box and will get updated to Android 8.0 Oreo soon.

The Nokia 8 sports a 13-megapixel Carl Zeiss camera lens dual-camera setup at the back with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus and optical image stabilization. Up front, the smartphone comes with a 13-megapixel selfir shooter with f/2.0 aperture and phase detection autofocus. The cameras on the smartphone come with a feature called 'Bothie' that allows users to take a pciture from the rear and the front camera at the same time. The feature also works with live streaming.
Nokia 8 is available in Tempered Blue, Polished Blue, Steel and Polished Copper colour variants. The smartphone is priced at EUR 599 which roughly converts to Rs. 46,200.
