Huawei's sub-brand Honor launched the Honor 7X last year. The smartphone was one of the best mid-range smartphones in 2017. The mid-range smartphone was launched with Android Nougat and the company has now finally rolled out the Android 8.0 Oreo update for the same.
The Honor 7X gets the Android 8.0 Oreo update with the latest EMUI 8.0 update. The update brings in Android Oreo's features like Autofill, Picture-in-picture mode, smart selection and much more. Apart from the usual Android Oreo features, EMUI 8.0 brings some new set of features alongside a redesigned Settings app.
In the new EMUI 8.0, users also get a recycle bin in the Gallery app that will allow users to recover accidentally delete pictures or videos. These photos and videos will stay in the Recycle Bin for 30 days and then they will vanish automatically. The EMUI 8.0 for 7X also brings the much anticipated Face Unlock feature.
