Honor 9X with pop-up selfie camera, 48MP triple camera setup launching in India on January 14 via Flipkart.
After a long break, Honor is gearing up to launch yet another mid-range smartphone in India. The Honor 9X is set to arrive in India on January 14 and it will be made available via the e-commerce giant Flipkart. While the phone is already available in certain regions, the company has rolled out "Save the Date" for the upcoming Honor 9X India launch event.
Honor 9X is already available in the United Kingdom priced at EUR 249.99, which roughly converts to around Rs. 20,000. However, the company will get a little more aggressive on the pricing when launching the phone in India. Since the phone will compete against the likes of the Redmi Note 8 Pro and the Realme 5 Pro, the Honor 9X is expected to be priced somewhere around Rs. 15,000. In India, the handset will go on sale via Flipkart.
Honor 9X sports a 6.59-inch bezel-less IPS LCD display with fullHD+ resolution. The smartphone is powered by the company's in-house Kirin 710F processor. The device packs in up to 6GB of RAM paired with 128GB of onboard storage, which is further expandable using a microSD card. The Honor 9X EMUI 9.1 based on Google's Android 9 Pie operating system. Under the hood, it carries a 4,000mAh battery.
