Honor is all set to unveil, the Honor View 20, their first smartphone with a punch hole camera and a 48-megapixel rear camera.
Huawei's sub-brand Honor has just announced that they will soon be launching the Honor View 20 smartphone. What brings so much hype about this device is on-screen camera. The selfie camera will be punched onto the display and it is being touted as the World's first phone to do so.
Honor is gearing up to launch the World's first smartphone with a "punch hole" camera on December 26, in Bejing, China. Soon after the official unveiling, the smartphone will be launched globally in Paris on January 22, 2019. Notably, the Honor View20 will also come with a 48-megapixel rear camera.
However, Samsung is said to unveil the Galaxy A8s today which is said to come with an Infinity O Display. The display will have a hole just to fit in the selfie camera. If Samsung launches the phone before December 26, the Galaxy A8s will be the first smartphone to have a punch hole camera.

As for the specifications, Honor View 20 is said to come with the company's flagship Kirin 980 SoC. The phone will sport a 48-megapixel camera at the back. It is a Sony IMX586 CMOS sensor with 0.8-micron pixel size. Additionally, Honor will throw in some AI features which will run quite well, thanks to the Kirin 980 chip. Further, the smartphone will also feature Link Turbo, an AI feature by the company that allows the phone to download files using 4G and Wi-Fi simultaneously.
