HTC, the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer has launched two new mid-range smartphones in India. The HTC Desire 12 and Desire 12+ are priced at Rs. 15,800 and Rs. 19,790 respectively. The smartphones will go on sale in India starting Monday, June 11.
In terms of specifications, the HTC Desire 12 features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720x1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek MT6739 chipset. The device packs in 3GB of RAM coupled with 32GB of onboard storage which is further expandable using a microSD card. The smartphone is backed by a 2,730mAh battery.
On the optics front, the HTC Desire 12 sports a 13-megapixel camera at the back with an f/2.2 aperture. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.4 aperture.
As for the specifications, the HTC Desire 12+ is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor. The smartphone features a larger 6-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720x1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. Just like the Desire 12, the dual-SIM Desire 12+ also comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs on Android Oreo out of the box. Under the hood, there is a 2,965mAh battery powering up the internals.
In terms of cameras, the Desire 12+ sports a dual-camera setup at the back consisting of a 13-megapixel and a 2-megapixel sensor. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie snapper.
