Huawei, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has its launch event around the corner where the company will take the wraps of the much awaited Mate 10 series. The company is about to unveil the Mate 10 series on October 16. Until people wait for the smartphones, Huawei has surprised everyone by launching a smartphone which shares a lot in common with the rumoured Mate 10 Lite. The smartphone unveiled by Huawei is being referred as Nova 2i.
The Huawei Nova 2i features a massive 5.9-inch FullView full HD display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by Huawei's homegrown mid-range Kirin 659 chipset. The phone packs in a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage which is further expandable using a microSD card. Under the hood, there is a 3,340mAh battery powering up the device. The Nova 2i will run on Android Nougat based EMUI 5.1 out of the box. There is a fingerprint sensor placed at the back of the smartphone.

Interestingly, the Huawei Nova 2i comes with a total of four cameras as there us a dual-camera setup at the front as well as the back. The rear dual-camera setup consists of a 16-megapixel camera sensor combined with a 3-megapixel sensor. Up front, there is a front-facing dual-camera setup consisting of a 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel camera sensor.
The smartphone will be available in Black, Blue and White colour variants. However, there are no details on the pricing and availability.
