JioFi JMR815 hotspot unveiled in India with 150mbps support at Rs 999

Reliance cooperation owned Jio became one of the biggest telecom operators. After its success in the Telecom industry, the company wants to expand in Broadband industry. The telecom industry giant is looking forward to expanding into broadband using its JioFi lineup. The company launched the JioFi 4G LTE hotspot device capable of delivering up to 150Mbps download speed. Dubbed as JioFi JMR815 costs Rs 999 and is available to buy right now using Flipkart. Also, the device is only Flipkart exclusive.

If you are looking to buy the new JioFi using Flipkart, you will get a few of others launch offers. Users using the Axis Bank Buzz credit card will get flat 5 percent discount. Also, the JioFi JMR815 comes with a 10 Days replacement policy. along with that, you get a 1 Year warranty for device and 6 months for accessories. However, that is not the focus of the device. The focus of the device is its capability to deliver up to 150Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50Mbps.

JioFi JMR815 Specifications

In terms of specifications, the JioFi JMR815 is powered by an ALT3800 processor. This helps it support FDD-Band 3, Band 5, and TDD-Band 40. The hotspot device also comes packed with a microSD card slot. all of this is backed up by a 3000mAh battery.

The new JioFi as we said is totally different from the original one. To recall, the original JioFi device is egg-shaped. however, the new JioFi JMR815 is definitely circular. The device has physical buttons for the power as well as WPS. It also has the standard notification lights. These notification lights include a battery, 4G, and Wi-Fi signal strength.

Also interesting, is the new JioFi device lets you connect it with 32 users at a time. What's more is that one user can connect to the JioFi via USB and 32 via the Wifi. Also, after the connection, the users will get more benefits than just the high-speed data. Users connected to JioFi can use their JioFi app to make and receive calls.
