LG Q6 with Snapdragon 430, 3GB RAM leaked on Geekbench

LG has been rumoured for some time to release a mini version of its LG G6 flagship smartphone. Though the information of the upcoming LG G6 Mini or the LG Q6 is limited, a new report has confirmed some of the specifications of the LG Q6. The rumoured LG G6 Mini or LG Q6 has been spotted on Geekbench a benchmarking website before its speculated launch on July 11.

It can be seen on GeekBench's website that the LG-M700 which is the model number for the new smartphone got a single-core score of 622, and a multi-core score of 1,777. The website also mentioned that this new smartphone from LG will come with a Snapdragon 430 1.7Ghz octa-core processor, along with 3GB of RAM. The phone will run on Google's latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat Android operating system.

The world was first introduced to the LG Q6 when TechnoBuffalo reported that LG is working on a mini variant of its flagship smartphone, the LG G6. The report claimed that the smartphone will sport a 5.4-inch display, along with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Around the same time, the Twitter leakster Evan Blass best known as EvLeaks confirmed the arrival of the LG G6 Mini. EvLeaks was the one to leak that the smartphone will be called the LG Q6 starting a new Q line-up.

The report mentioned that the phone will sport a single 13-megapixel camera on the back, and would feature an 18:9:5 screen to body ratio. Another Twitter leakster named as @grzdabek earlier this week tweeted out that LG might be launching the G6 Mini on J8uly 11, in Poland. However, it is still not clear wheater or not LG will launch the Q6 globally.

A phone which is tipped to being the LG Q6 recently passed the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) with the model number M700.
