Micromax, the Indian tech giant, has been working on a new series of smartphones named Bharat. The company launched the Bharat 2 a few weeks ago targeting the Indian consumers looking for a budget smartphone with 4G VoLTE support. After the success of the Bharat 2, Micromax has now launched the Bharat 3 and Bharat 4 in order to expand its new Bharat series. These new budget smartphones aim to bring a better camera, battery and display options for the new smartphone users.
The Micromax Bharat 3 features a 4.5-inch display with a 2.5D curved glass up front while the Bharat 4 features a larger 5-inch display. Both the smartphones are powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The Bharat 3 comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage while the Bharat 4 comes with a 16GB of onboard storage. Both the devices run on Google's Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box. The Bharat 3 is backed by a 2,000mAh battery while the Bharat 4 packs in a 2,500mAh battery. Both the phones feature a smart key that will enable the users to take screenshots, click pictures and switch the phone into silent mode.

On the optics front, both the new smartphones sport a 5-megapixel camera at the back with a LED flash and another 5-megapixel sensor up front with a selfie flash.
The Bharat 3 is currently priced at Rs. 4,499 whereas the Bharat 4 comes with a price tag of Rs. 4,999. Both the smartphones will go on sale via offline markets starting September 18.
