Micromax Bharat 5 Pro launched in India: Price, Specifications and Availability

Micromax, the Indian smartphone manufacturer, has launched another budget-oriented smartphone. The Micromax Bharat 5 Pro is launched in India at a price of Rs. 7,999. The highlights of the smartphone include its massive 5,000mAh battery. The company claims that the smartphone can last up to 2 days on a single charge.

Commenting on the launch, Shubhodip Pal, Chief Marketing and Chief Commercial Officer, Micromax Informatics said, "Hence, we at Micromax have always been at the forefront of coming up with phones with extensive battery life and compelling product features. not too long ago we were the first to give our consumers a 30-day battery phone. Our new addition to the successful Bharat range - the Bharat 5 Pro will surely offer a complete package to the consumers at a very affordable price."

Specifications

Micromax Bharat 5 Pro features a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. The device packs in 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. Storage is further expandable using a microSD card. The Micromax Bharath 5 Pro runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Under the hood, there is a 5,000mAh battery powering up the internals

In the camera segment, the Micromax Bharat 5 Pro sports a 13-megapixel camera at the back with a LED flash. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie snapper with a selfie flash. The front camera on the smartphone will also be used for the Face Unlock feature.

On the connectivity front, the smartphone features 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB.

Price and Availability

Micromax Bharat 5 Pro is launched with a price tag of Rs. 7,999. At this price point, the smartphone directly competes against the recently launched Xiaomi Redmi 5. The Bharat 5 Pro will be available only in the Black colour variant.
