Microsoft had recently announced that it will be ending support for its Windows Phones. The company is now working on bringing more and more applications to the popular mobile operating systems like the iOS and Android. Microsoft already had a bunch of apps including Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and much more. Microsoft Edge was recently announced for iOS as well as Android under a preview/beta programme. The application is now out of beta and available for download for iOS and Android users.
People who are interested in checking out the new browser can head over to App Store on iOS or Google Play Store on Android and search for 'Microsoft Edge'.
The Microsoft Edge was initially brought to the iOS and Android platforms under the Preview mode in October. The company has improved the application since then with the help of user's feedback. Joe Belfiore, Corporate Vice President for Windows and Devices, in a post wrote “A special THANK YOU goes out to each of you—hundreds of thousands of you—who downloaded, test-drove, and sent feedback on the preview apps. Your ideas and passion have contributed to an even better app experience.”

The Microsoft Edge browser offers features like Favourites, Reading Page and Reading View. There is also a 'Continue on PC' option in the mobile version of the browser which allows users send web pages to a Windows PC version of the Edge browser and then restore earlier pages or resume from the last page on the desktop/laptop.
