Xiaomi has rolled out a list of devices that will soon get the MIUI 10 update. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and Redmi Note 5 are among those 21 devices.
Xiaomi recently announced that they will start rolling out the Global stable version of the latest iteration of their custom UI, MIUI. In a recent blog post, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has confirmed that the MIUI 10 update will be soon rolled out for a total of 21 devices. Users will be able to get the update OTA (Over-the-Air).
MIUI 10 is an update to the company's own custom UI that is built on top of Android. The new update brings significant changes to the UI and a ton of extra features. It brings better full-screen gesture for Xiaomi smartphones. The notification shade and recents menu have also been revamped. Apart from the UI changes, the MIUI 10 also introduces AI Portrait mode and much more.
The list of smartphones include, Xiaomi Mi Max 2, Xiaomi Mi 4s, Xiaomi Mi 4c, Xiaomi Mi 5s, Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, Xiaomi Mi Max, Xiaomi Mi 4, Xiaomi Mi Max Prime, Xiaomi Redmi 5A, Xiaomi Redmi 4, Xiaomi Redmi 4A, Xiaomi Redmi 4x, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (Qualcomm variant), Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (MediaTek variant), Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A Prime, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, Xiaomi Redmi Pro, Xiaomi Mi Note 3, Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus and the Xiaomi Redmi Pro.

Notably, the Poco F1 by Xiaomi has also got the MIUI 10 update recently which, alongside the new UI has also fixed some of the major bugs.
Once the MIUI 10 update is available for your Xiaomi device, you will get a notification. However, to check for the update manually you can open up the Settings app and head over to About phone>System updates and tap on Check for updates.
