Xiaomi has already started rolling out the update for some of the above-mentioned devices via a closed beta program. While the closed beta of the MIUI 12 is limited to Chinese variants, the company has stopped rolling out global beta versions. Also, as these beta versions might feature some bugs, we would highly recommend waiting for the stable release.
As far as the MIUI 12 features are concerned, the latest iteration of the custom Android skin brings Dark Mode 2.0, an improved dark theme for Xiaomi smartphones. Apart from that, the new update brings a new collection of wallpapers, improved animations, new gestures, health tracking, AI calling, enhanced security and much more.
