Moto E5 and E5 Plus launched in India: Here are some alternatives to consider

Moto E5 and E5 have finally made their way to India. Here are some better smartphones available at a similar price range.

Moto E5 Plus comes with a premium looking design

Motorola India has finally unveiled the entry level, Moto E5 and E5 Plus today. The smartphones come with entry-level specifications and still have features like the fingerprint scanner and Moto display. The Moto E5 and E5 Plus are priced at Rs. 9,999 and Rs. 11,999 respectively. The smartphones will be exclusively available via Amazon India starting July 11, 12 AM.

Moto E5 and E5 Plus Specifications

In terms of specifications, the Moto E5 features a 5.7-inch display while the E5 Plus comes with a larger 6-inch display. Both the E5 and E5 Plus are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 and Snapdragon 430 SoC. The E5 comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage while the E5 Plus gets 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. Both the smartphones run on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. The E5 packs in 4,000mAh battery whereas the larger E5 Plus comes with a massive 5,000mAh battery.

In case the storage on the Moto E5 family sounds too low for your taste, look no further than the Oppo RealMe1. The RealMe1 has a stunning design at the back and comes with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage which is quite rare to see in this price range. The smartphone is available at a starting price of Rs. 10,990.
