Moto G5S now launched in Midnight Blue: Everything you need to know

Motorola, owned by Lenovo, recently launched two new smartphones in India. The budget-oriented Moto G5S, which was launched recently has now got a new colour variant, the Midnight Blue. The new Moto G5S smartphone is available at all major stores across India as well as the e-commerce websites. The new Midnight Blue is currently under the Diwali launch offer which makes it current price at Rs. 12,999 which is Rs. 2,000 cheaper than its original price, Rs. 14,999. As this price comes under the Diwali offer, the offer will only be available until October 21.

Commenting on the launch of Moto G5S Midnight Blue variant, Sudhin Mathur, Managing Director of Motorola Mobility India said “We continue to offer products that enhance our customers’ experiences. This festive season, we have come up with the new contemporary color variant that will connect with our new-age customers’ sense of style and offer them the opportunity of being a part of the most popular Moto family in the country.”

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Moto G5S features a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC which is an octa-core chipset clocked at 1.4GHz. The device packs in 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. The storage on the phone is further expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. The Moto G5S is backed by a 3,000mAh battery. The device runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box.

As for the optics, the Moto G5S comes with a 16-megapixel camera at the back with an aperture of f/2.0 and a LED flash. Up front, the phone sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with a selfie flash.
