Moto X4 launched - A new smartphone with a new killer feature

Motorola on its IFA 2017 event took the wraps off the mid-range smartphone Moto X4. The Moto X-series lies somewhere in between the flagship Z series and the budget G lineup. The Moto X4 is not as impressive on paper but does bring one new killer feature. Motorola partnered up with a French start-up Tempow which brings a new Wireless Sound System to the X4. With this new feature, the X4 can connect up to four Bluetooth audio devices and play music on them simultaneously and adjust the volume of each device separately.

Specifications

The Moto X4 features a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels and a pixel density of 424ppi. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC coupled with Adreno 508 GPU. The phone will be launched in two variants, one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage and the other with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. All of this is backed by a 3,000mAh battery which supports TurboCharge technology for faster charging. The Moto X4 runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat out of the box.

The new Moto X4 will be available in Super Black and Sterling Blue colour options.
