HMD Global, at the MWC 2018 showcased a couple of new smartphones one of which was the Nokia 1. Nokia 1 is the company's first smartphone to come with the Android Oreo (Go Edition). Android Oreo (Go Edition) is Google's initiative towards making Android a better experience even on a budget smartphone with as less as 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the Nokia 1 is powered by the MediaTek MT6737M processor which is a quad-core chipset clocked at 1.1GHz. The smartphone features a 4.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 480x854 pixels. The device packs in 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage. The storage on the handset is further expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card. The Nokia 1 runs on Android Oreo (Go Edition) and is backed by a 2150mAh battery.

In the camera department, the Nokia 1 sports a 5-megapixel camera at the back with a LED flash. Up front, there is a 2-megapixel camera sensor which can be used for taking selfies and making video calls.
Nokia 1 has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 5,499. The smartphone comes in Red and Dark Blue colour variants. The smartphone will be available at all offline stores across the country. Nokia has also introduced Xpress On covers for the smartphone priced at Rs. 450 and available in Azure and Grey or Yellow and Pink colour variants.
