Nothing Phone 3a, Phone 3a Pro finally available in Australia

Nothing Phone 3a series is finally available in Australia, bringing something fresh to the market hoping to break the Apple-Samsung duopoly.

Nothing 3a series has been available in multiple markets for a while, and is now making its debut in the Australian market. Its interesting seeing a new company trying to break into a market that Apple and Samsung have such a stronghold on. While there are players like HMD Global, Motorola and others, Nothing has something different to offer consumers. With its glyph interface and a not so sorry of an attitude to provide a bang for the buck phone, the company seems to be confident that it will capture the Australian market, similar to the other markets it operates in.

Nothing Phone 3a, 3a Pro: Price in Australia

Phone 3a is available in three colour options: Black, White and Blue. Whereas, the Pro variant misses and only has Black and Grey colourways to offer.

Nothing Phone 3a 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant is available at A$599, and the 12GB RAM/256GB storage variant is available at A$689. The 3a Pro is only available in the single 12GB RAM/256 storage config at A$849.

Nothing Phone 3a, 3a Pro: Specifications

Both the Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Pro sport a 6.7-inch flexible AMOLED display wih a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and Panda Glass protection. They are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Both the devices run Google's Android 15 operating system with the company's own NothingOS 3.1 skin on top. All of this is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 50W fast charging.

Additionally, they bring the Glyph Interface which is a light based interface on the back. This is a unique addition to the phone that no other OEM has to offer. The updated Glyph Interface now supports 10 new ringtones and notification sounds.

Coming to the cameras, the Phone 3a comes with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor. The Phone 3a Pro features a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS and EIS support alongside a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle shooter at the back. Both the phones have a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Nothing has certified both the phones to come with IP64 dust and splash resistance certifications. In terms of connectivity, the devices come with 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C port.
