Nuu mobile, a US-based company that provides carrier unlocked smartphones, has finally made its way to India by launching four new smartphones. Nuu conducted a launch event on Wednesday, in New Delhi where they introduced set of affordable smartphones pricing somewhere in between Rs. 9,999 to Rs. 15,999. The smartphones which made their way to India are Q500, Q626, M3 and X5, X5 being their flagship device. All these phones are 4G VoLTE enabled.
Commenting on the launch, Michael Sit, Chairman of Nuu Mobile, said "Globally, Nuu Mobile has gained very high trust of its customers through its groundbreaking innovation and high-quality services. We believe in protecting our customers' interests with extended warranties, timely updates and we are committed to deliver this."
The Q500 is the entry level smartphone from the company and features a 5-inch display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage which is further expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card. The phone sports an 8-megapixel camera at the back and a 5-megapixel camera at the front. The phone comes in two colour options, namely, Matte Black and Silver.
Nuu Q626 sports a 5-inch display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The device is powered by a MediaTek processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. The phone features an 8-megapixel camera at the back and a 5-megapixel camera at the front. The smartphone also features a fingerprint sensor at the back. The Q626 is available in two colour variants - Sapphire Blue and Jet Black. The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.

The Nuu M3 features a larger 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The M3 is powered by a MediaTek MTK6737 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage which is further expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. The phone sports an 8-megapixel camera at the back and a 5-megapixel camera at the front. All of this is backed by a 3,200mAh battery and the phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.
Nuu X5 is the flagship device from the company and is powered by a MediaTek MT6750T chipset. The smartphone comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card. The device features a 5.5-inch Full-HD display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels. On the optics front, the phone comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. Powering all this up is a 2,950mAh battery.

The Q500 is the cheapest of the lot with a price tag of Rs. 9,999. The M3 is priced slightly higher at Rs. 12,499 and the Q626 is priced at Rs. 12,999. The flagship X5 comes with a price tag of Rs. 15,999. The smartphones will be available starting September 2017, in the offline markets.
