OnePlus recently brought the OxygenOS 4.1.7 update for the OnePlus 3 and 3T bringing battery optimizations, enhanced system fluidity and bug fixes. The company has now rolled out an update for its latest flagship, the OnePlus 5. This new update on the OnePlus 5 bumps up the OxygenOS version to 4.5.10 and user will receive this update shortly over the air. The update brings in improved camera stability and texture and noise improvements to videos recorded at 60fps.
Major improvement being the camera, the company has also fixed some issues related to accidental touches after hanging up a call. The update also improves Reliance Jio call functionality and fixes the display issue on calling. Few other fixes include improved WiFi stability, more clarity in videos taken by the SnapShot application, display issue with the change of font, and scrolling issue in Google Play Music.

OnePlus, in order to increase the sales, have come up with a new discount scheme for its products. If you are a student, you can avail a discount of 10% on purchase of the OnePlus 5. Students just need to verify that they are a student at Student Beans and this way they will receive a 10% discount coupon for any order from the OnePlus website. You can buy the OnePlus 5 along with some accessories and get a 10% discount on the total bill.
However, currently, the discount is available only in the USA, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Austria, Belgium, Portugal, Poland, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Croatia and Hungary.
