What is Project Treble?

Project Treble was introduced by Google in order to shorten the time period between an Android version release and the third-party OEM's pushing the update. OnePlus is already quick enough in delivering the Android updates. With the support for Project Treble, the company can be quicker and the users can get the Android update soon after Google releases it. Now, as the Project Treble support is here, the OnePlus 5/5T users can expect the Android 9 Pie update hitting their devices soon.
