OnePlus 5T images leaks again, official launch to happen in November

OnePlus has been in the news lately for their rumoured upcoming smartphone, the OnePlus 5T. While the OnePlus 5 was announced sometime in June this year, it has already gone out of stock in some countries including the US and Europe. It is being speculated that instead of filling up the stocks in these markets, OnePlus is now working on another smartphone. Just like last year, the company is going to introduce an improved version of the year's flagship.

Earlier this month, there was a report showing images of the leaked OnePlus 5T. The leaked images showed the OnePlus 5T with a nearly bezel-less design with a taller display. However, now there is a new report showing new renders of the upcoming flagship smartphone. The new renders have been revealed on Weibo, a Chinese micro-blogging website.

The new renders give us an idea about the front and back of the smartphone. At the front, the device flaunts thin bezels and a taller display. According to the render, the back of the smartphone looks a lot similar to what we have seen on the OnePlus 5. The only difference here is that there is a small cutout below the camera for the fingerprint scanner. The volume keys and the alert slider can also be seen on the left side of the device.

Other reports suggest that the OnePlus 5T will be powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. The device will feature a 6-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080x2160 pixels. The display on the smartphone will use the 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone might come in two variants, one with 6GB of RAM and the other with 8GB of RAM. Reports also suggest that the device will run on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

Rumours suggest that the OnePlus 5T might look a lot like the Oppo's upcoming flagship Oppo F5. The OnePlus 5T is expected to launch sometime in November.
