The device is launched in two variants, one with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage and the other with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. All of this is backed by a non-removable 3,300mAh battery. The OnePlus 5T runs on OxygenOS based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.
The company decided to move the fingerprint scanner at the back of the device that unlocks it in 0.2 seconds as said by the company. OnePlus also introduced Face Unlock which unlocks the 5T in 0.1 seconds.
