OnePlus 6 to launch today: Here's how to watch the live stream

OnePlus 6 will be exclusively available via Amazon in India

OnePlus is all set to launch the much-anticipated flagship OnePlus 6. The company is hosting a global launch in London today, May 16 at 5 PM BST (9:30 PM IST). OnePlus will also be holding an event in India in Mumbai on May 17 at 3 PM IST where the India pricing of the flagship will be unveiled.

OnePlus is hosting the OnePlus 6 launch event in London. The event is set to kick off today at 5 PM BST which converts to 9:30 PM IST. As always, OnePlus will be live streaming the event so that the fans can enjoy the unveiling of the latest flagship. As far as the specifications are concerned, the OnePlus 6 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. The smartphone will be available in configurations up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The dual-sim handset is said to feature a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with a notch resulting in a 19:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone will run on Android 8.1 Oreo-based OxygenOS out of the box.

As for the pricing, speculations suggest that the OnePlus 6 will be priced at Rs. 36,999 for the base variant (6GB+64GB) while the top of the line variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will cross the Rs. 40,000 mark. The smartphone will be exclusively available via Amazon India.

Currently, users can pre-book the upcoming smartphone via Amazon. Customers need to pay a sum of Rs. 1,000 to get a gift card which can then be used to buy the smartphone. The customers who pre-book the device can get an additional discount of Rs. 1,000 at the time of purchase. The OnePlus 6 will be available for purchase on May 21 for the Amazon Prime users while other can buy starting May 22.
