OnePlus offering exciting offers on the OnePlus 5T

Chinese Smartphone Manufacturer OnePlus recently announced exciting offers on their latest Android flagship. The OnePlus 5T will be getting various offers making it cheaper than ever. The company is offering up-to Rs 1,500 as cashback on the OnePlus 5T. However, this cashback can be availed only via ICICI credit and debit cards. The company is also offering 3-month no-cost EM. However, the offer is only available between March 8th and March 14th. To avail the offers the users can head to Amazon.in, or oneplusstore.in or any OnePlus experience store.

OnePlus 5T Specifications

OnePlus 5T features a 6.01-inch Full HD Optic AMOLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. However, it is not the latest and greatest by the Snapdragon anymore, it is still a really good processor. The smartphone is available with 6GB RAM and 64 GB storage or 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. The device is backed by a 3,300mAh battery. The OnePlus 5T runs on OxygenOS 5.0.4 based on Android 8.0 Oreo.

As for the optics, the OnePlus 5T features a dual-camera setup at the back consisting of a 16-megapixel sensor with an aperture of f/1.7 combined with a 20-megapixel sensor with f/2.6 aperture. The rear camera comes with a dual-tone dual-LED flash for better low light images. Up front, the phone comes with a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture.

Is the OnePlus 5T still worth it now?

The OnePlus 5T is a great phone, no doubt about it. Also, it is one of the best phones money could buy in around Rs 30,000 price range. However, with the rumors of the upcoming OnePlus 6 and sporting an edge to edge display and wireless charging, the 5T looks a little pale now.

Also, looking at the OnePlus track history, the OnePlus 6 will be priced similarly to the 5T. So these offers may be present to discount the 5T to prepare for the arrival of its successor.
