Oppo has launched the budget-oriented Oppo A3s in India today. Here are some alternatives that beat the A3s in every aspect.
Oppo India has launched a new budget smartphone India that comes with a notch in order to give it a more premium and modern look. The Oppo A3s, priced at Rs. 10,990, gives direct competition to the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Oppo RealMe1. The smartphone will be available via both online and offline stores.
In terms of specifications, the Oppo A3s sports a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720x1520 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC. The dual-SIM handset packs in 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage which is further expandable using a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.1 out of the box. Under the hood, there is a 4,230mAh battery powering up everything.
On the optics front, the Oppo A3s features a dual-camera setup at the back which includes a 13-megapixel primary and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.
Oppo has priced the Oppo A3s at Rs. 10,990 where tons of alternatives are available with much better specifications.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 is way better than the Oppo A3s on paper while holding the same price tag. Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 starting at Rs. 10,999 comes with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor. The dual-SIM handset sports a 5.99-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2160x1080 and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone will soon be available in a 6GB RAM variant as well.
Oppo A3s gives direct competition to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 which also makes it for a great alternative. The smartphone comes with a 5.99-inch FullHD+ 18:9 display and it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset. The Redmi Note 5 is available in India at a starting price of Rs. 9,999.

The smartphone comes with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage which is quite rare to see in this price range. The smartphone is available at a starting price of Rs. 10,990.
