Oppo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, expanding its portfolio in India launched the Oppo A71 (3GB). The smartphone was recently launched in Pakistan with the name Oppo A71 (2018). The unique selling proposition of the device is its AI Beauty Recognition technology. This feature on the smartphone is capable of capturing over 200 facial features. Using the technology, the phone is able to differentiate between skin textures, tones, age, sex and much more.
As for the specifications, the Oppo A71 (3GB) is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC. The processor is a 1.8GHz octa-core chipset coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. The smartphone features a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The device packs in 3GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. The storage on the device is expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. The Oppo A71 (3GB) runs on ColorOS 3.2 based on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. The dual-sim handset is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.

On the optics front, the Oppo A71 (3GB) sports a 13-megapixel camera at the back. The rear camera comes with f/2.2 aperture, phase detection autofocus and a LED Flash. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie snapper with f/2.4 aperture.
In terms of connectivity, the smartphone supports 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS.
The Oppo A71 (3GB) is launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 9,990. The smartphone will be available in Black and Gold colour variants. Customers can purchase the device via Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal.
