Oppo A7X sports a gradient back design

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Oppo has launched the Oppo A7X in China today. The highlights of the smartphone include a water-drop notch which results in a 90.8 per cent screen to body ratio and a gradient back design. The A7X will be available in China starting September 12 for a price of CNY 2,099 (roughly Rs. 22,000)

Specifications

As for the specifications, the Oppo A7X features a 6.3-inch FullHD+ IPS LCD display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P60 processor which is paired with the Mali-G72 GPU. The dual-SIM handset comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which is further expandable using a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.2.

On the optics front, the Oppo A7X bears a dual-camera setup at the back consisting of a 12-megapixel primary and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie snapper.

Oppo F9 Pro

Oppo F9 Pro comes with a water-drop style notch up front

The Oppo F9 Pro is available in India for a price of Rs. 23,990 which is not too expensive when compared to the A7X. However, they offer similar specifications including the 6.3-inch FullHD+ display and the Helio P60 processor. Even the design is pretty similar on both these smartphones come with water drop notch and a gradient back design. The major difference is the front-facing camera where F9 Pro takes the lead with a 25-megapixel selfie shooter.

Xiaomi Poco F1

Xiaomi Poco F1 comes with a notch up front

In case you are more into the specs and do not care much about the phone's design, the Xiaomi Poco F1 is worth a shot. The Poco F1 is powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone is available at a starting price of Rs. 20,990.

Xiaomi Mi A2

Xiaomi Mi A2 is a part of Google's Android One program

In case you are looking for a stock Android experience at a cheaper price point, the Mi A2 deserves a look. The smartphone is powered by a more powerful processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The Mi A2 is available in India with a price tag of Rs. 16,999 which is way cheaper than the Oppo A7X.
