Oppo has unveiled the new ColorOS UI with tons of new features and interface changes. Here's everything you need to know
Oppo has announced the launch of a new version of their UI, ColorOS. The company hosted an event in China where they revealed new features and changes with the upcoming ColorOS 6.0. With the new UI, the company is now focusing on a borderless or bezel-less smartphone interface.
ColorOS UI comes with lots of white and gradient backgrounds, which makes the interface look more simplistic and spacious. It also brings in a new font, Oppo Sans, which has been developed by Oppo in collaboration with another Chinese company, Hanyi. The new font offers more modern, uniform and neater strokes.
Apart from the visual changes, the ColorOS 6.0 also features machine learning or AI capabilities. It basically analyses the user's daily activities in order to freeze the most used applications instead of traditionally closing them. This allows the UI to bring down the power consumption by 7 per cent and eventually improve the battery life of the smartphone.
Further, the ColorOS 6.0 also brings in a new feature called Game sounder function. The feature offers customised sound templates for a different gaming experience.
