Oppo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is working on another smartphone lately. The Oppo R11 successor, the Oppo R15 is on its way. The smartphone has been in the news due to all the leaks and rumours. It seems like the time to round up all the rumours have arrived, as the smartphone is set to launch on March 31.
According to a post on a Chinese microblogging site, Weibo, Oppo will launch the R15 in China on March 31. Alongside the R15, Oppo is also said to launch the Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition. Another poster on the website claims that Zhang Yishan, the Chinese actor will be the brand ambassador for the upcoming flagship devices.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the leaks suggest the Oppo R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition will have similar specifications. Both the smartphone will feature a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2280x1080 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The Oppo R15 will be powered by the MediaTek Helio P60 processor while the R15 Dream Mirror Edition will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC. The devices will pack in 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The smartphones will run on ColorOS 5.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
On the optics front, the Oppo R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition will sport a dual camera setup at the back. The R15's dual camera setup will include a 16MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor. The R15 Dream Mirror Edition will get a 16MP + 20MP camera setup.
